Save The Amazon Creek Headwaters
The Amazon Creek headwaters are once again under grave threat from an intensive development proposal. At stake is a 26 acre property located at the end of West Amazon Drive at Martin St.
As the only remaining place to make a connected ecological corridor between the Amazon Greenway and the headwaters of Amazon Creek, this site was identified by the Army Corps of Engineers, in their major Metro Waterways study, as a priority open space acquisition area for the protection and restoration of Amazon Creek.
You can help keep the Amazon Headwaters and Eugene’s forest safe for future generations. Your donation will contribute to the legal expenses associated with fighting for the protection, and purchase of this 26 acre property for public use.
